Collection: Tequila Barajas

Tequila Barajas was established by Gerardo Barajas in 1997. Gerardo learned the process from his colleague Francisco Alcaraz, who was a Maestro Tequilero of 7 Leguas and Later of Tequila Patrón. Over time, Gerardo mastered the craft and became a Maestro Tequilero himself.

Tequila Barajas  collaborate with Mauricio Servin, a renowned and awarded artisan from Mexico. Each bottle undergoes the skilled hands of 8 different artisans over 10 days. The painting process alone takes 7 hours, and the responsible artisan is honored by signing the bottle.

Gerardo Barajas serves as the Maestro Tequilero. In 1997, he pioneered a Nobel extraction technique called “Desfibrador,” introducing unique flavor notes despite its lower yield. Their Tequila embodies Gerardo’s life’s work and expertise.
